DAILYDOGLOG PRIVACY POLICY Last updated: August 19, 2026 DailyDogLog (the "App") is a private, staff-only tool that dog daycare and boarding facilities use to log animal care. The App is operated by Clark Shuler ("Operator," "we," "us"). Each facility that authorizes your access (the "Company") decides what information is entered into the App and how it is used; the Company is the controller of that information, and the Operator provides the App and processes the information on the Company's behalf. By using the App you agree to this Policy and to the End User License Agreement presented in the App. If you do not agree, do not use the App. 1. WHO USES THE APP The App is a workplace tool for authorized staff and administrators of the Company. It is not offered to, or intended for, the general public or children, and it is not directed to anyone under 13. Do not use the App unless the Company has authorized you. 2. INFORMATION COLLECTED The App collects only what it needs to operate: - Account information: your name, work email address, and staff initials, used to create your account and to attribute care entries to the staff member who made them. - Authentication data: a time-based one-time-password (TOTP) secret and single-use backup codes, used to secure your account. - Care records you enter: feeding, medication, potty and play activity, observations, notes, and the times and initials associated with them, for the animals in the Company's care. - Photos you choose to capture in the App (for example, food, medication, and carabiner-confirmation photos). - Basic technical information needed to deliver the service, such as the device/user-agent string associated with a session. The App does NOT collect your precise or coarse location, your contacts, your browsing or search history, your health information, financial information, or any advertising identifier. 3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED Information is used solely to provide the service: to sign you in and keep your account secure, to record and display care for each animal, to attribute entries to staff, to generate the Company's run-log and kennel-card documents, and to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot the App. We do not use the information for any unrelated purpose. 4. NO TRACKING, NO ADVERTISING, NO SALE We do NOT use your information to track you across other companies' apps or websites. The App contains no third-party advertising and no advertising or analytics tracking SDKs. We do NOT sell or rent your information, and we do NOT share it for anyone else's advertising or marketing. 5. HOW INFORMATION IS SHARED - With the Company: information is available to the Company and to its authorized staff and administrators, because the App exists to keep the Company's own records. - With service providers: with vendors that host or support the App, strictly as needed to run the service and not for their own purposes. - For legal reasons: when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, or property. - In a business transfer: if the App or its assets are transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale. Each facility's data is kept in its own separate database and is not combined with, or exposed to, any other facility. 6. SECURITY Signing in requires your work email and a rotating authenticator (TOTP) code, and the App is further protected by your device's Face ID or passcode. Information is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your credentials, authenticator, backup codes, and device secure and for notifying an administrator of any suspected compromise. 7. DATA RETENTION AND YOUR CHOICES Care records and account information are retained for as long as the Company uses the service and as needed for the Company's business and legal requirements. Because the Company controls the data, requests to access, correct, or delete personal account information should be directed to the Company; we will assist the Company as its processor. When your authorization ends, your access is removed. 8. CHILDREN The App is a workplace tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. 9. NO WARRANTY; LIMITATION OF LIABILITY THE APP AND ALL INFORMATION IN IT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. The App supports, but does not replace, professional judgment and the Company's own care procedures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the App, your use of it, or the Company's collection or use of information through it. The Company is solely responsible for its own data practices, including obtaining any consents or notices required for the information it enters into the App, and for its compliance with applicable law. 10. CHANGES We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the updated Policy. 11.
